Valve Index Controllers

Valve Index Controllers are XR peripherals designed for advanced interaction as specialized VR controllers. They use Lighthouse tracking technology within the SteamVR ecosystem, enabling precise and immersive interaction in virtual reality environments. These controllers are primarily used for immersive interaction in SteamVR-compatible XR applications. They support natural hand and finger input, enhancing realism and control within VR experiences. Valve Index Controllers are natively compatible with HTC Vive Pro 2, HTC Vive Pro Eye, Somnium VR1, MeganeX superlight 8K, and Bigscreen Beyond 2. They are also compatible with devices equipped with SteamVR Lighthouse modules, including Varjo XR-4 Edition (SteamVR version), Pimax Crystal Super, Pimax Dream Air, and certain variants of the P2 headset.
