Pimax Crystal Light

Pimax Crystal Light is a wired PC VR headset designed for the B2C consumer market and commercially available since 2024. It features QLED (Mini-LED) displays with a resolution of 2880 × 2880 pixels per eye, a field of view reaching approximately 125°, glass aspheric lenses, and refresh rates up to 120 Hz, with a weight of around 800 g depending on configuration. Tracking relies on inside-out 6DoF, with optional compatibility for external SteamVR tracking depending on configuration. The headset does not include mixed reality passthrough and requires a high-performance PC, with no integrated battery or onboard storage. It operates within the SteamVR ecosystem with full SDK support. Its primary limitation is the high hardware requirement needed to fully leverage its resolution and performance.
