Pimax Crystal Super

Pimax Crystal Super is a wired PC VR headset designed for the consumer (B2C) market and announced for release in 2025. It features QLED / Mini-LED displays with a resolution of 3840 × 3840 pixels per eye, delivering a pixel density of 50 to 57 PPD depending on the installed optics. The headset offers a field of view exceeding 120°, interchangeable lenses, and refresh rates up to 120 Hz, with a weight of approximately 800 g depending on configuration. Tracking is based on the SteamVR outside-in system using base stations, positioning the device for high-precision PC VR gaming and professional simulation use cases.The headset requires a high-performance PC and does not include an integrated battery or onboard storage. It operates within the SteamVR ecosystem with full SDK support. Its primary limitation is the significant hardware requirement needed to fully utilize its ultra-high resolution and display density.
