DPVR P2 (P Series 2023)

DPVR P2 is a standalone virtual reality (VR) headset designed for hybrid B2B and B2C use and released in 2023. It features an LCD display with a resolution of 1832 × 1920 pixels per eye, a field of view of approximately 100°, Fresnel lenses, and a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz, with a weight of around 690 g. The headset provides 3DoF tracking without passthrough, targeting entertainment and light VR gaming use cases. It runs on a Snapdragon XR1 processor, with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, and includes a 5700 mAh battery for standalone operation. The device runs on a proprietary DPVR operating system with full SDK support. Its main limitation is the absence of 6DoF tracking, which restricts advanced immersive VR experiences.
