Meta Quest 3 (512GB) is a standalone mixed reality (MR) headset designed for hybrid B2B and B2C use cases and commercially available since 2023. It features an LCD display with a resolution of 2064 × 2208 pixels per eye, an approximate 110° field of view, pancake lenses, and refresh rates up to 120 Hz, with a weight of around 515 g. The headset includes inside-out tracking, high-resolution color passthrough, and hand tracking support, enabling collaboration, immersive productivity, and entertainment use cases. Powered by the Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, it delivers an estimated battery life of 2 to 3 hours depending on usage. It runs on Meta Quest OS with full SDK support. Its primary limitation is battery life during intensive mixed reality sessions.
