XREAL 1S

XREAL 1S are tethered AR smart glasses (USB-C / DisplayPort) designed for the B2C consumer market and commercially available in 2025. They feature Micro-OLED displays with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels per eye, an approximate 52° field of view, and refresh rates up to 120 Hz depending on the display mode. The device operates via USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode, requiring a compatible smartphone, computer, or gaming console for power and video processing. They integrate directional speakers, microphones, and physical control buttons, without an onboard battery or XR processor. XREAL 1S are Android-compatible and support the XREAL software ecosystem (Nebula app required on compatible devices). Primary use cases include video entertainment, portable gaming, and extended mobile display. Their main limitation is the absence of standalone computing compared to autonomous AR glasses.
